How are the sessions priced?
Sessions are charged at a 'pay as you go' rate or at a discounted rate when a bulk upfront purchase is made of 5 or 10 sessions.
The duration of the sessions depends on personal preference and/or clinical requirement. We prefer Physiotherapy initial appointments to be 55 minutes in duration, but follow ups can be either 55 or 30 minutes.
We generally suggest that people commit to a minimum of three, 55 minute sessions to start with. This gives us enough time for you and your body to experience the benefits of our approach.
Can I speak to somebody, I’m not sure what to book?
Of course! The best way to get your questions answered is to call 020 3282 0400 or to fill out the quick contact form and request a call back from one of our team. During weekdays (9am-5pm) we can respond within a couple of hours.
Can I book online?
How do I pay?
You will be not charged at the clinic on the day of your appointment, instead you will receive a payment request via email between 1-3 days after your appointment. You can choose to pay by card, bank transfer or PayPal. Unfortunately we cannot accept cash payments in the clinic.
Will my insurance company pay for my sessions at Perform Health?
It depends on the health isurance company you have cover with. Most of our therapists are recognised practitioners with all the main health insurance providers (Pru Health, Aviva, Simply Health, WPA, CIGNA and most North-America-based Insurers) with the exception of AXA PPP and BUPA. It’s best to ring us on 0203 282 0400 to check before you make a booking.
Are there any concessions to the standard ‘pay as you go’ price?
There is a 10% concession rate available for a small number of our clients on the 'pay as you go' price (National Centre for Circus Arts Alumni, ACDC members and London 2012 Professional Performer Cast).
Consultations and treatments are by appointment only. We offer appointments with physiotherapists, sports massage therapists, and pilates instructors.
You can make an appointment by using the online booking service, by phone, but NOT by person at the studio.
Cancelling an Appointment
If you want to cancel your appointment you can use the cancel button on your appointment confirmation email, or call us on 0203 282 0400. Please give us as much notice as possible, as someone else will be able to use the appointment. If less than 24hours notice is given we will charge 50% of the cost of the appointment.
Late for an appointment?
If you are late for your appointment by more than 10 minutes, you may be asked to re-book. We will do our very best to see you on time, but when people arrive late, it can mean the therapist or instructor is no longer running to time.
You have more than 1 problem that needs examining?
If you have more than one problem to discuss, or feel you will need a lot of time with the therapist, please book a double appointment 55min x 2. This will enable your problem to be dealt with adequately.
Do you have late evening and Saturday / Sunday appointments?
We appreciate that some people may not want to take time off work in order to come to the studio. Our morning appointments start at 09:00 on weekdays. We offer late evening appointments too, our last appointment is at 19:00. You can also book an appointment to see us on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00-18:00 depending on therapist availability.
Telephone or Skype Consultations?
We do offer a telephone / Skype consultation service. To arrange this, simply call us on 0203 282 0400. Please tell our assistant Lesley the nature of the call so that the Physio who rings you can be prepared. You will be asked to leave a number or Skype name where you can be contacted and the therapist will call you back at the pre-arranged time. Costs will vary depending on duration of call.
You can request a specific therapist, but if he or she is not available, another therapist will be offered. If you prefer to wait until your chosen therapist is available, you will be informed as to when that will be. If your call is urgent, you may be contacted by the clinical director, to enable your call to be returned quickly.
Can you refer me for a scan privately?
Yes, we can. we have great relationships with local scanning facilities and can expedite this process for you.
Do you do home visits?
Unfortunately, we currently do not offer visits to private residences.
