James lectures on behalf of KCL as part of the MSc in Advanced Physiotherapy. Students are invited to the Circus Space where they are given a masterclass in "Physiotherapy in the Circus Arts". He also teaches anatomy, exercise training principles and basic biomechanics to BA degree circus arts students at The University of Kent.

He also offers the opportunity for physiotherapists interested in working in circus the opportunity of shadowing him at work.
